Mug | Ocean Sunrise

Handmade mug thrown on the potters wheel, hand painted with underglazes in a sunrise design in teal and orange. Glazed in semi-opaque translucent glaze inside and top of exterior, showing the warm brown clay underneath. A stencilled flower motif on the bottom. 

Each piece is thrown, turned, painted and glazed by hand. This is a slow, artisanal process, and pieces include small imperfections and irregularities, such as brush marks, traces of tools, or glaze drips.
